Philosophy
Our philosophy is that a horse is meant to
live outside, free, in a natural environment and in permanent contact with other
horses. This provides harmony, balance, no stress and continuous movement.
These are the basic conditions for a healthy life.
Here at the Ranch, the
horses live outdoors at all times. The horse is therefore free to roam where he
pleases within securely fenced paddocks or pastures with other pasture mates.
In the summer time, horses graze in large fenced pastures and
are part of a rotation program to prevent overgrazing and ensure quality forage at all
times. This rotation is also part of our parasite management programme
(worms).
Nonetheless, a box stall or standing stall is
always available
to boarders for cooling their horses after a ride or training session.
They also have access
in case of injury.
